The cash drawer is automatically ejected on the following occasions:
- Cash payment
- Withdrawals
- Deposits
- Closing
The cash drawer can also be ejected with a key or manually via the cash register.
If you need to open the cash drawer without logging in to Sitoo POS and open the cash drawer, you can eject the cash drawer by following the steps. You do not have to open the cash register to get the menu options in the upper left.
- Sign in to your iPad.
- Open the Sitoo POS app.
- Enter your PIN.
- Go to the menu in the top left corner.
- In the menu list, tap Eject cash drawer.
The cash drawer does not eject
Make sure the receipt printer is running and working properly. On those occasions when the cash drawer opens by itself, for example at closing time, a signal is sent via the receipt printer to the cash drawer. If the receipt printer does not work, this may cause problems with the cash drawer.
