Changing batteries
If you are using a 1D barcode reader you can replace the batteries in the device. Only use rechargeable AAA-batteries. Exchange the batteries by opening the hatch on the lower part of the barcode reader.
When the barcode reader is charging this will be indicated by a steady red light. When the barcode reader blinks rapidly red there's 20% or less remaining battery power. To avoid completely draining the battery, the barcode reader will turn off after a period of inactivity. If the barcode reader is connected to the iPad it will turn off after 2 hours of inactivity. If the barcode reader is not connected to a device it will power off after 5 minutes. används.
