Scanning discount codes

This article will cover how you add a discount code to the bottom of your receipts and also how you create a label with a discount code that you can easily scan to apply to a purchase.

Adding a discount code to your receipts

1. Log in to Sitoo Back Office> Promotions. Create a campaign.
2. At the campaign level, give the campaign a discount code to consist of numbers; eg 25252525
3. Go to Menu> Cash Profiles> Select the cash register whose receipt should contain a promotional code.
4. In the lower text section, first enter a description of the campaign then the campaign's number series; {{25252525}}
5. Note that the row row number should be surrounded by two 'target wings' on each side, as in the above step.
   
   Example:
   You get 25% on the next purchase through this promotion code:
   {{25252525}}

Creating a discount code label

1. Create a campaign as shown above
2. When you want to print a label, add the following prefix to the discount code for the campaign:
   92DC
3. Your code should look like this: 92DC25252525 (following the example above)
4. Print the label
5. Your code can now be used to immediately apply a discount code to the purchase when you scan it.
