The customers receipt can be scanned to add articles to the cart intended for refund. Enter the payment reference or scan it with your scanner. All products on the receipt will be fetched and their prices will reflect the prices on the receipt. Before finalizing the refund you are able to add, edit or remove products. You can also add a note to each product.

Perform a refund - Step by step
This article will cover the different ways of performing a refund.
Option 1: Scan the original receipt
- Accept the customers receipt and scan it with your scanner.
- The products on the receipt will appear in the cart. The price of the products will reflect what's on the receipt. All products will be noted in negative amounts.
- If certain products shouldn't be included in the refund you can remove these from the cart. Remove products by swiping them to the left.
- The total button will have changed from blue to orange.
- Tap Refund and choose the payment options with which the customer wants to be refunded. We recommend a voucher, but you can of course refund a customer in cash or credit card and other options, as well.
Option 2: Reduce the amount on products in the cart
- Add a product to the cart.
- Tap the product and then tap the minus sign twice until the amount is -1
- The total button will turn from blue to orange.
- Tap Refund and choose the payment options with which the customer wants to be refunded. We recommend a voucher, but you can of course refund a customer in cash or credit card and other options, as well.
Option 3: Perform a manual refund
- Find the product intended for refund and add it to the cart.
- Tap Refund at the bottom of the cart and then tap Manual.
- Tap the orange refund button and follow the steps above.
Option 4: Search for receipt
- Tap Refund at the bottom of the cart and then tap Search for receipt.
- Follow the instructions in the app.
- The entire order will be added to the cart.
- If you want to remove products not intended for refund this is easily done by swiping them to the left.
- Tap the refund button and follow the steps above.
Option 5: Fetch Latest Purchase
If you made an error on the latest purchase you can easily fetch it to the cart and correct it.
- Tap Refund at the bottom of the cart and then tap Latest Receipt.
- The latest purchase and all its articles and prices will be fetched to the cart in a negative amount.
- If all articles are not intended for correction you can remove individual articles by swiping them to the left.
- Tap the refund buttopn and follow the steps above.
