With styles, headings will be search engine optimized

It is important that headings on the site are coded as headings. If they are not, the search engines cannot interpret the headings as actual headings thus failing to properly index the site.

Headings are created using "H"-tags which are assigned a value between 1 and 6 for differens levels. <h1> corresponds to the highest level (shall be used as the main heading) and <h6> the lowest level. The search engines weigh the headings using the same structure, meaning a main heading (<h1>) will have the highest value.

If you use styles in Sitoo Web, you do not have to think about "H"-tags, Sitoo Web will handle them automatically. On the other hand, it is important to use the styles "Heading 1" through "Heading 6" when you write headings. In Sitoo Web, "Heading 1" corresponds to the main heading (that is <h1>).

With styles, the site's text formatting will be consistent

A style defines how a paragraph will look. Font, size, background color and text color is among what is controlled by the style. Using styles, it is easy to keep the website's formatting consistent and it is usually easier than maintaining the formatting manually.
